This is my English essay and I wanted to share it with people because I think it's really good. It's about the Chernobyl Disaster that happened in Kyiv(Kiev), Ukraine on April 26, 1986. It's also about to boy best friends...so enjoy!!

Iyanna Ivanov and her best friend, Grey Petrov are about to be caught up in the worst nuclear disaster that the world has ever seen. ~~~ This was an English project I had to do. It's a narrative based on the Chernobyl Disaster. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I hope you enjoy it. This is completely my original idea. The plot, characters, and pretty much everything else is mine. Oh, and obviously, the cover isn't mine, so all rights for that go to the original owner.

The Zone. Such a hostile environment. Radiation, dangerous mutants, mysterious anomalies and artifacts that dare defy the most basic laws of physics and logic. Numerous stories about an entity deep within the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, whom will grant any wish you request. It may sound crazy that people live in an environment like this, yet they do. Numerous factions reside in this post-apocaliptic wasteland, all with different purposes and points of view. Some wish to simply destroy it, while others want to embrace it. Some want to foolishly control it, others just want to study it. Then there's the ones who attempt to make profit from it, which are the majority of residents in The Zone, which are known as "Stalkers." And this is the story of two Stalkers. An Ecologist by the name of Yuri "Oddball", former member of the Duty faction, tired of their concept of destroying The Zone, now wishing to study it... And to kill mutants under the name of science. And a Loner by the name of Gabriel "Stabber", a former soldier, tired of the constant corruption of the military, decided to desert and join the Free Stalkers. Due to him being part of the military, he will have to earn some trust among his new faction... Not alone, obviusly. Little did these two know, their adventure would be very different from a regular Stalker... _______________________________________________ THIS STORY TAKES PLACE ON THE NON-CANONICAL MOD OF "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Great Land will never be the same if Senior Lieutenant Makarenko won't be able to contain the zombies within the Zone. Will he protect it and secure Ukraine from this undead threat, or will he succumb to the infection along with the other stalkers?

Nascida no Brasil, Carolina / Bebel Chernobyl é uma pessoa de 1,65 de altura, irmã de Noah May, é quem tem pé no chão e ao mesmo tempo sonha alto. Quando pequena, já sonhava em cantar e viver a vida longe dali, se empenhando e alimentando esse sonho, teve o resultado de estudar bastante e aos dezesseis anos concluiu o ensino médio. Logo após sua formatura, começou a por seu plano de cantar e expandir horizontes em prática, e para o plano dar certo, sabia que precisaria primeiro juntar dinheiro, consequentemente teria que primeiro arrumar um emprego, e assim ela fez, e depois de algumas semanas entregando currículos, Bebel é chamada para trabalhar como atendente em uma loja de roupas. Por ser o seu primeiro emprego, Bebel aceitou de bom grado. Metade do dinheiro que ganhava, ia para seu plano de ir embora. Nas horas vagas, Bebel jogava games, ouvia música e treinava seu canto, e assim o tempo foi passando até que finalmente conseguiu a quantia que precisava para realizar seu primeiro sonho, ir embora do Brasil. Com uma boa quantia em dinheiro depositada em sua conta bancária, Bebel se despediu da casa dos seus pais e mudou-se para seu objetivo e assim iniciou a sua nova jornada. Hoje, Bebel usa o dinheiro que juntou no Brasil para se adaptar e construir agora sua vida independente na cidade.

Until, nearby, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant explodes. Ivetta and Valentin are left behind back in Pripyat and go on amazing adventures.

Two boys fall in love in the Soviet Union. A young nuclear engineer and a young medical student find solace in their apartment in Pripyat, a city built to exemplify Soviet ideals. Their relationship, a fierce and tender secret, blossoms in the months before the Chernobyl disaster, creating a private world in defiance of a society that would condemn their love. However, everything they knew would soon collapse, much like the USSR itself, leaving them to navigate a future they never planned for.

The Soviet regime is crumbling, but that does not stop the ghosts of Chernobyl from haunting the living. Larisa Vladimirovna Sakharova is a KGB agent who hates her job, but keeps it because it pays the bills. Her true passion is ghost hunting.

A story of a boy called Anibal who finds himself restricted to every day life and an escape can be difficult to find. The beauty of the world can only do so much for him. But maybe there's a way out, somewhere? Anywhere... (Just a shortish story I threw together when inspired. I hope you enjoy.)

This is my fanfic of the PC game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. It's an excellent game based on the Strugatsky brother's novel 'Roadside Picnic'. This novel was the first to made me realise that aliens would be so...well...alien, that we wouldn't be unable to understand anything about them, not even their waste! The game differs from the book. Among other differences, it is based on the fallout zone of the Chernobyl reactor and the city of Pripeyat a. I wrote this for a contest and I won a copy of the game, personally signed by the entire development team! This is the story of Oleg and leonid, Stalkers. One is ambitious and will stop at nothing to gain control of his faction and the other a traumatised outcast on a never ending search for his lost sister. Both quests collide in the twisted and dangerous area called the Zone, a region that defies human understanding.
