In the original plot, she schemes over the female lead who also schemes back, but is defeated in the end. The male lead Xi Jinwei she wants for herself tortures her to death. When Wang Linxue transmigrates, she vows to get in her father's good graces, scheme on the female lead who sabotages her and do good so she could live a good life. Good plan right? So why is the two faced and stubborn male lead courting her instead of the female lead? Just because she showed him some kindness when they were younger? The villainess and male lead aren't meant to be together. Right? Well, it was up to her to carve her own path in this life or follow the novel . NB: This is my original work. Plus I'm an amateur writer and this book is my first so overlook any plot holes and inconsistencies and try and enjoy the book.
