This is actually my first book HEHE so like yeah im bored so i created this 😭 (Discontinued)

Eventually the two last players walk in, two young men, each carrying a big gun. If this is a diamonds game like Chishiya suspects, that's not going to be very useful for them. The one with an eyebrow piercing walks onto the stage first, confidently, unbothered to be walking into a death game. The man behind him seems as anxious as the other players, fiddling with his gun to calm himself. As soon as he steps onto the stage, the announcement voice blares out of the speakers at the corners of the auditorium. "Registration complete. Difficulty level, seven of diamonds. Game, mathletics." Chishiya is glad this is a diamonds game, and strangely, the pierced gunman seems to be glad about it too, a wicked smile on his lips. ~Or, before Chishiya joins the Beach, Chishiya and Niragi meet at a Diamonds game~

Everyone knows Niragi and Chishiya aren't on friendly terms, they know it themselves. But after a few events that bring them closer, they start to think differently.

Niragi didn't think he would survive his last game but when he did he couldn't really enjoy it much, the game didn't end with him just winning, it gave him a completely new challenge immediately. said challenge would decide his destiny, it's not even that hard, he thought as he simply heard he had to save one single life. that soon turned out to be completely false, it would be the most difficult thing he ever did. Saving chishiya who died the exact moment Niragi stept foot into the 9 of hearts challenge. you may ask yourself how Niragi would be able to save him then...well it all can be answered with one little sentence. forever ongoing loop, until he saves chishiya and wins, loses or gives up and dies.

*Contains backstories of main characters by the manga and some I invented to work with what I know* + + Chishiya is the son of two parents who married simply for their own personal gain. He never experienced the parental love a child should have he grew up alone and ignored. His perception of human behavior became misconstrued. Before Borderland Chishiya tried to follow in his father's footsteps and became a medical school student to become a surgical intern. Chishiya wanted to find out if he could care for individuals and feel any empathy. His attempts were futile. Chishiya could only see individuals as pawns he had no attachment to. Niragi was an intelligent kid who had loving parents. However, his intelligence made him a target to bullying. Niragi spent his last years in school bruised and beaten by those in his class. Niragi loathed them and after finishing school completely changed his image. Niragi wanted to separate himself from his past. He wanted to be the one people feared. Niragi wanted to be the one to inflict pain and hatred onto others unlike in his path. + + ----------------------------------------------------------------- Okay so like I haven't seen many stories deeply analyze their characters and understand why Chishiya and Niragi are the way they are. I believe their story is not taken into detail enough to show why they compliment each other either. I will say the updates will be slow but it is only because I truly want to do a good job and write a great story that exemplifies them. I have not read the manga but have rewatched the show and have done some research that will play a part in this story. Hopefully all goes well I feel like now that I am in college I could write some decent fanfiction that will stick with you.

Niragi leaves (the room, not The Beach itself) after they had an argument. Chishiya finds him a little while later.
