Sixteen year old upcoming writer Toni Topaz joins an all girls boarding school and her roommate is horse crazy, rich girl Cheryl Blossom. Will these two put their differences aside and get along or spend the rest of the year arguing with each other?

Toni is a new student at Riverdale High, her quiet and reserved presence makes her the target of some of the schools show offs. Cheryl is challenged by her friends to attempt to make the brunette popular with a plan to eventually humiliate her in front of the whole school. At least until the redhead realises she doesn't mind spending time with the new girl. This idea was suggested by @Chonifan09 on Twitter.

The day Southside High shutdown changed a lot in Riverdale. That event affected many of the small-town teens, but none more so than Toni Topaz and Cheryl Blossom-two girls who didn't seem to have much in common. Toni lived a teenage daydream, being cheer captain and the girlfriend of Riverdale High's star player, Reggie Mantle. Cheryl-or Cherry as she preferred to go by-was a gang member who lived on the wrong side of the tracks. They believed the only things similar about them were that they shared a couple of classes and the same friend group. But things began to take a turn when they started to realize there was something they could relate to; trauma. Little was known about the girl's pasts, but slowly their webs of secrets began to unwind and bit by bit they realized they got along more than they ever thought they would.
