(Previously called: The Only Light) In the future, all of the world and its people reflect only black, gray, and white, save for a population, the Lights, that decreases by the years. Ellen Dawn is now the last Light to exist. She is feared by everyone around her, referred to as a Color, not a Light, and is forced on the outskirts of town, though she chooses to stay for the sake of the Normals. Lucky for her, one Normal can see past the "danger" she reflects to see who she is on the inside.

A Caucasian cop and African American cop are like 2 peas in a pot and then a new police comes in that is Caucasian as well. So the 2 Caucasians get close and tend to leave the African American officer out of things. Will the African American cop become friends with both of them or stay mutual?!

Parker grew up with Calloway and is used to seeing him running through the halls in a cape and mask, clutching a comic book to his chest. Nobody knew why until his teacher finally explained to the class that his father, a comic book artist, dissapeared and that it's effected him in ways that nobody can really explain. Grady, the school bully, has been using Calloway's coping mechanisms as a reason to make fun of him in any way possible. Will Parker be the hero, and friend, that Calloway needs? (Word Count: 499)

Schools really tough, especially for Charlotte Summers. It's really hard for her to fit in, when she's different. How? Why don't you read to find out! "Hi! I'm Charlotte!" I said introducing my self. Some people simply are not good people. These not good people often engage in behavior that negatively affects others, which is sometimes even the motivation to do such things. But my step-father, a member of the unofficial not good group, didn't do what he did to hurt anyone this time. They say not to speak ill of the dead, but there is not much to say when all they ever did - from waking up in the morning to hanging out with friends - was done to enable a hateful lifestyle. So, tradition and hesitance be gone; this is the brief telling of how the consequences of my step-father's actions haunted me post-mortem.
