Abby has always been more of the wallflower type - that is, until she finally decides to make a move on her long-standing crush Collin by giving him a gift before school ends for the Christmas holiday. Abby fell for Collin the first day she saw him when he arrived at their High School, but sadly for her he joined the Popular group and that group could not be infiltrated by someone like her. It was like two mixtures that would never blend together. Four years later, Abby has finally built up the courage to express her feelings but isn't exactly sure what this will lead to.
Collin, as soon as he moved to the school, was swallowed up into the cliched popular crowd and never looked back. From the first day he saw her in Algebra, he'd automatically felt a zing of attraction. He and Abby stayed friends through their AP courses and after school tutoring, but the attraction he'd felt on that first day soon faded and was forgotten, just like all the other secrets he's been trying to forget. Abby placing that gift on his desk brought back all those old feelings, and with the Christmas holiday lying in front of him, he sees no reason why he can't spend a little more time with Abby.
The holiday season is always a time of festivities and cheerfulness, and with all of the mistletoe hanging around it's the perfect time for romances to bloom. With both teens hiding their own problems and darknesses, will the holiday season be enough time to bring these two together, or will this little spark die under the weight of the falling snow?
Author's Note:
Hey everyone - so this is my first finished novel (I finished it about a year ago) but it is unedited so please be gentle with comments or cries about editing issues. Yes it is a Christmas romance and yes it is quite a corny and cliched teen romance with a pretty predictable plot but if you can cope with that, then I really hope you enjoy it! Also feel free to leave me any comments or advice - I am more than open to it xx
