Born with a degenerative disease, she's spent her life fighting against a body that betrays her, a past that haunts her, and a love she thought she'd never deserve. From a toxic first love that left scars she can't erase to the quiet strength of motherhood, she navigates a world that is both fragile and fierce. When she becomes a mother, she discovers that love can survive loss, grief, and weakness - and that the true legacy we leave behind isn't measured by how long we live, but by the love we nurture and the lives we touch. Even If I Fade is a heartbreaking and hopeful journey of resilience, motherhood, and learning that some love never leaves, even when the people we love do.

Zari's life has always been a balancing act: obey the rules, keep the secrets, survive the house she's never been safe in. She's seventeen and exhausted-caught between a controlling mother,a father whose rage has left deep scars, and a brother who's far more dangerous than anyone knows. When her carefully hidden world begins to unravel-starting with a medical crisis she can't hide - it exposes cracks in her carefully constructed silence, zari finds herself pulled into the orbit of an impossibly strange family of strangers- who refuse to stay strangers: two fiercely protective brothers with their own ghosts,a trauma-informed doctor who actually listens. And literal angels, both the mythic and the human kind who somehow make her feel safer than home ever did. But Azariya doesn't trust easily. Not with her body, not with her story, not with the memories she can barely admit to herself. As quiet clues begin to surface-bruises she won't explain, things she flinches from, nights she won't talk about-those around her begin piecing together the truth. And when she's reunited with the cousins her mother tried to erase from her life, lines are drawn and loyalties shift. Because there's more happening in Azariya's world than just the past she's trying to escape. And some secrets don't stay buried forever. A slow-burn, trauma-informed story of survival, found family, unraveling mystery, jaw dropping action and what happens when the people you're most afraid to trust refuse to give up on you. ⚠️ Content warnings: This story contains depictions and discussions of physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual assault (non-graphic but emotionally intense). It also includes themes of PTSD, chronic illness, panic attacks, medical trauma, and self-harm (more to be added as story gets updated). This story contains senstive material, reader discretion is advised. All sensitive content is handled with care and respect, with a focus on healing and support-not sensationalism.

This title honors the core of the story: The brother who raised her in silence The shadow who chose to protect instead of destroy The girl who held everyone's hearts while quietly losing pieces of herself -- Description: He built empires to protect her. One stayed in the shadows to save her. And she-she was the reason they survived at all. Kang Soojin has lived her life hidden behind marble walls and silent glances-known to the public as the quiet artist who resides in the mansion of Korea's most powerful CEO, Kang Jihoon. What the world doesn't know? She's his sister. She's the secret he's spent a decade protecting after their parents' mysterious deaths. But when a jealous heiress spreads vicious rumors, a mysterious ally from Jihoon's past begins to interfere, and buried enemies rise again, Soojin finds herself the target of more than scandal. She becomes the reason empires fall. In a world of suits and shadows, how long can the girl who never asked for power keep holding on? > She wasn't the weakness. She was the one they stayed for.

Two exceptional people. One road. No promises. When Cole Whinny: Hockey star, household name, professional at disappearing-pulls over for a stranger on an empty road, he's not looking for connection. He's running from it. Victor isn't looking for anything either. He's just trying to reach Vancouver before his body decides he's out of time. Seven languages. A mind that never stops calculating. A condition that's slowly taking everything else. They have nothing in common except this: being exceptional at something has cost them both the ability to be seen as human. The road to Vancouver is simple. Straight shot, few days, done. They're taking the long way. This is not a love story. It might become one. They haven't decided yet. -- A/N: Appreciate Feedback. 'You're always taught not to be afraid to speak up if something is wrong. That they will believe you. What a joke. I wish I'd know by doing so, By telling them all what was wrong, I was unintentionally bringing nothing but judgment, isolation and heart ache. I wish I'd never spoken up, i wish I'd just keep it to myself, Everything was better before they knew..." - Azalea Anderson The literal meaning of the floral name Azalea is withered flower. Contradictory to that, its habitat of growth being dry conditions sends the message of being robust and strong willed. In floriography Azaleas symbolise and fragility as a result of being notoriously fragile and difficult to grow. She wasn't fragile like a flower though, She was fragile like a bomb. Just waiting to self destruct at a moments notice. Azalea Anderson a deaf, seventeen year old girl struggling living in a world where words CAN hurt you. Having experienced first hand being chronically Ill that human beings are the cause of more pain that any illness or injury could ever inflict. Knowing that memories etch their way into your mind and skin. Like a permanent reminder of your undoings. What happens when she sees history repeating itself once more and realities begin to blur? Will she step in and help break the cycle? Or will she turn a blind eye and hope this time for a different outcome?
