"He's teaching her how to hack his empire. She's collecting the evidence to burn it down." I was paid to translate. Not to interpret. Not to judge. Kira Khine arrives in Portugal with a passport missing an entry stamp, a revoked university admission, and €23,000 she refuses to touch. She didn't come for romance. She came to survive. But survival gets complicated when her landlord turns out to be Rodrigo Costa-a tech billionaire, single father, and the quietest, most unreadable face in northern Portugal. He offers her a deal: translate contracts in Burmese. In exchange, he'll teach her to hack. She takes it. Then she translates Clause 12.4. IMEI numbers. Geolocation data. Unrestricted real-time access-disguised as "urban planning." The kind of data you use to hunt people. The kind of people who disappear in Myanmar every day. Now, Kira has a choice: look away and cash the cheque. Or learn everything Rodrigo can teach her, and use it to destroy him. An impossible attraction. A dangerous game of secrets. He's letting his guard down around her-and she's collecting the evidence to burn his empire to the ground. Somewhere in the vineyard, a seven-year-old girl named Sofia is waiting for her friend Kiki to come to her birthday party. I trust me.She did. She does. A slow-burn geopolitical thriller about translation, cyber warfare, and ultimate betrayal.

Eighteen-year-old Juniper Mae Whitlock has always tried to stay small. Sweet, anxious, and easily overwhelmed, she's spent years shrinking herself to fit a world that often feels too loud, too bright, and too fast. Living at home with parents who notice her struggles but offer little real support, she's used to holding back, apologizing for simply existing, and hoping no one sees how fragile she feels. Twenty-year-old Nathaniel Rivers is steady in a world that never stops spinning. Broad-shouldered, warm-eyed, and effortlessly calm, he has a way of making you feel like everything will be okay even when nothing is. He's patient without being passive, confident without being overbearing, and goofy in just the right moments to make you forget the weight of your own thoughts. He's been waiting-quietly, carefully-for someone who will challenge him, trust him, and let him in. Valenhart Academy is where their worlds finally collide. Nate has been here for years, steady and sure of his place, while Juniper is stepping into the Academy for the first time, unsure of what to expect. She faces fears and boundaries she's never confronted before, and he discovers how to guide, protect, and connect without taking over. Together, they find that trust, care, and patience can make life at Valenhart feel... right.

For years, I've lived in a body that felt like a mystery no one couldn't solve. Symptoms came and went, answers never did, and each appointment seemed to raise more questions than it answered. Doctors, tests, and diagnoses blurred together into a frustrating cycle of hope and disappointment. The Journey to Now is a raw and honest memoir of navigating the uncertainty of an undiagnosed medical condition. It follows my path through confusion, resilience, and self-advocacy as I search not just for a diagnosis, but for understanding, validation, and a sense of control over my own life. Through moments of doubt, strength, and quiet determination, this story sheds light on what it means to be unheard in a system meant to help-and what it takes to keep going anyway. This is more than a medical journey. It's a story about persistence, identity, and finding your voice when no one else seems to listen.

🌸 Story Description (Blurb): > "Some pain is loud. Mine is silent." Hana has lived her whole life hiding her pain. Sickle Cell Disease has made her body fragile, her nights sleepless, and her dreams small. To everyone else, she's the quiet girl in the corner-smiling, studying, living like nothing's wrong. But behind the smiles are IV drips, cold hospital rooms, and prayers whispered into empty ceilings. When a sudden crisis lands her in the ICU, Hana's world collides with Dr. Minji-a doctor who refuses to sugarcoat the truth-and Jisoo, a stranger who sees her in a way no one ever has. This is not a story of miracles or easy fixes. It's about pain, survival, love, and what it means to keep living even when it hurts. Because sometimes, strength isn't about fighting. It's about staying.
