Some are very lucky to say that they have seen her, some say she's a myth, some call her Mother Nature. But one thing for certain everyone knows is that she loves all, even the bad. She follows her best friend back to the town Mystic Falls think nothing of it only helping a friend out. Little did she know that she has been being watched by a being that would stop at nothing to make her his. He is told to be your worst nightmare, one you hope to never cross. People cower in fear by just his name "The shadow" no one's ever really seen him, he likes watch, observe, and hide in the shadows. He can mess with your mind and torture you with your fears. He has no heart but starts to grow one when he sees her.

War. The first man-made catastrophe of the twentieth century. The Great War lasted four years. After the loss of many lives, the war was finally over. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, a cease-fire went into effect for all combatants. The war may have been over, the effects, however, were horrible. Many of the men who came back from the War were suffering from serious injuries, the effects of Mustard Gas and or shell shock. However, there was one women, in the middle of it all, at the battle of the Somme in the front line and that was Lillian McDonald, Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant Douglas Haig of the Royal Scots infantry. After the four years she gained the Victoria Cross for extreme acts of bravery on the front line as she saved hundreds of lives. Now that the war is over, she is forced to go back to normal, as if she didn't spend the last four years watching men die each day to come back to her father who was too old too fight in the war and try to marry her off to men she didn't want and, so she did the only thing that came to mind. She ran, she ran from her father and away from Scotland and ended up in the city of Birmingham not knowing that her life would change forever. #3 in Thomas Shelby 17/01/19

No, I don't want to romanticise toxic men or relationships of that sort. But when I watched the movie Red Eye, I got the impression that Jackson didn't enjoy his job and in some way he had grown to like Lisa to some degree over the time he studied her over those eight months - Wes Craven also somewhat confirmed both these things in an interview. So, I have created a new female lead and took my own spin on the original plot, some differences in it and a possible insight into a different side of Jackson's character.
