Alexis, a 13 year old pianist, has severe depression, and has attempted suicide before. She meets the new kid, Jacob, a 14 year old pianist and clarinetist. A spark begins to form, but will this turn into a romantic relationship, or a horrible nightmare?

I knew since i was a kid that i wanted to be in marching band. The football games, the trips, the people. Just everything about it, I knew i wanted to be apart of. Heres my experiences in band, past and now.

A cheesy romance centered on marching band. Prepare to be amazed, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the best book we've ever written. Warning: it's the first book we've ever written. Disclaimer: This will make you want to watch chick flicks and eat pistachio ice cream. May cause side effects of staring at drum majors and wanting to meet the two fantastic authors. I've lived in Alaska for my entire life. Heck, I've never even been outside of Alaska. Until I received a letter. A letter inviting me to spend four weeks in New York for a music program! It's where I met William. William, the guy who sold yellow roses outside of Joe's Pizza House*, trying to raise money for his dad who has cancer... His half-smile, his hazel eyes...and the yellow roses that brought us together in the first place.

Zoey is a freshman and she's new to the marching band. She's there to follow her family tradition and continue a legacy. At first she's unexcited about being there at all. First chair means that they are the best in their section.
