In a dystopian future, an acidic flood reigns and the only signs of old life lie in the deep. Alex - an outcast with an inquisitive mind and a set of strangely specific skills - must navigate a world where she is shunned from the safety of the domes and stuck in the water. One day, while exploring a set of deep-sea ruins, she is haunted by a mysterious spirit; a spirit that seems to be warning her of something. The problem is, this ancient being doesn't seem to have any memory of its previous life. With a newly-possessed fish at her side, she must now uncover a secret organisation, find out what it means to do and save both humans and spirits from their plans. --- This is my entry for the Open Novella Contest 2026. What does it mean to be "somebody" in a world that often demands we stay quiet? The Quiet Battle is an evocative collection of verses exploring the friction between the polished surfaces of society and the raw, untamed essence of the human spirit. From the "man-made" pressure to look perfect to the desperate need to protect our wilting planet , these poems serve as a mirror to our collective conscience. Whether observing life through a rain-stained window or fighting for the freedom to simply be, I attempt to capture the beauty of the mundane and the urgency of change.

In the Galactic Stewards and the Sphere the Starr siblings discovered their interstellar heritage, who their parents really are, that their mother and father are Galactic Stewards. As they left Earth to help a new friend from another planetary system they also hoped to find their mother and father. Though the Starr siblings did not find their parents, they did learn more about what might have befallen them. Unfortunately they also had to accept that the worst might have happened, and that their parents might never return. Almost a year later, however, a new hope appears with a faint signal from the edge of Earth's solar system. Tracing down that signal brings the discovery of their father's robot, alone, damaged beyond life, adrift in the dark coldness of space. This discovery launches them on a new adventure across the cosmos. This time, however, the siblings must split up: While Cal and Sierra take their father's Robot Dynak across the galaxy to Mindin, Bale and Montes are called to help a new friend somewhere else in the Galaxy. In this adventure they learn more about their family, more about themselves, more about their home planet Earth, and they learn what is happening to the Milky Way Galaxy that drew their parents away from them to begin with.

This is a fictional story based on a many actual events both historical and current. Join Anni on a journey through the heart of Florida's ideological battlegrounds as she investigates the roots of school book bans and anti-woke policies. In a state embroiled in controversy, Anni confronts conspiracy and bigotry with unwavering resolve and historical truths. Florida stands among the 18 states that have implemented laws curbing discussions on race, gender identity, and sexual orientation in classrooms. The "Stop W.O.K.E" Act, enacted in 2022, imposes restrictions on educators, prohibiting teachings that might evoke feelings of guilt or anguish among students regarding their racial heritage. Amidst the legislative maze lies a climate of fear and censorship, with the looming threat of civil liability and job loss haunting educators who dare to challenge the status quo. But behind the façade of legalities lurks a deeper battle fueled by far-right groups, exploiting social media and the church pulpit to wage a religious crusade against perceived adversaries, both real and imagined. In this war, casualties abound, with the church and the fundamental rights of citizens caught in the crossfire. 'Anni challenges White-Nationalism and Anti-Woke sentiment' delves into the heart of a struggle for freedom of expression and the preservation of academic integrity in the face of ideological extremism.

This book is a collection of really short things i've written, they cover a range of topics and all include my perception and interpretation of the particular topic. But instead of just typing it, I've woven it into words, a story. Each chapter is a separate short 'story' unless indicated otherwise. Most of them are emotional and personal to me but still relatable. And also, this is a collection of short notes that have just amalgamated into these short stories. And because I don't have the cofidence to start writing an actual book, I'm starting with this, so please do comment or message me with any feedback or criticism, I'll happily take either. So here goes: Enjoy!!!
