𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗬𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 · 28x FEATURED · An Asian sci-fi retelling of The Little Mermaid that steers the tale you know in a whole new funky direction | An ambitious teen mermaid must venture beyond her guarded underwater city and brave the polluted, climate-ravaged wilds of the Indian Ocean, in order to find her human soulmate and forge a better future for her people. *** Calliathron is the epitome of modern sea life--a bustling mer-city contained within a coral atoll in an alternate Indian Ocean. Yet, the ripples of a changing world beyond have begun to seep in, bleaching color and darkening minds--but not Dea Rhodoreef's mind. Who said life's easy for a teen about to graduate high school? Even more so when one is a pastel goth gamer mermaid trying to scrape by in a mobile home with a grumpy grandmother who's always complaining about the "human infestation". Maybe the troubled city-state will embrace a new dawn when merpeople and humans coexist--a future that Dea is determined to work hard for. Noble causes aside, just getting to see a notorious human is number one on her bucket list. Now, as if school, a part-time job and building a political career aren't enough, a chonky sea cow has been following her for days. It's time to return him to the wild--not like she'd swim into a human. "We have broken the ancient bargain with the ground beneath our feet, and still, we cannot seem to stop." For thousands of years, the Earth breathed in perfect rhythm with the seasons, and humanity moved with a quiet reverence for the wild. Then came the smoke, the concrete grids, and an insatiable hunger for progress that changed everything. Before the Clock Runs Out is a sweeping, deeply emotional free-verse poem that journeys from the unspoiled beauty of our planet's past to the choking, plastic-strewn reality of its present. Written in a cinematic, storytelling style, it serves as a powerful witness to the weeping ice caps, the silent landscapes, and the heavy cost of human ambition. But this isn't just a story of despair. As the cracks widen in the soil, the narrative shifts into a fierce, defiant rallying cry for the future. It is a passionate appeal to our collective courage, challenging us to launch a quiet revolution of the mind and heal the planet for the generations yet to come. Step inside this thought-provoking read, experience the rhythm of a world on the edge, and join the conversation in the comments about how we can mend the frayed threads of our home before time completely runs out. It is a short story about a plastic bottle that is lying at the sea shore, and how it obstructs the sea from achieving its peak of romance with the shore. And as the number of plastic bottles grows, the sea seeks help from the underworld, and the God of the underworld, Hades, comes to rescue the sea, while seeking help from the Goddess Selene to help the sea and the shore, find their moments of love and romance. It is a euphoria of love and emotions, where any genuine and responsible reader would like to be kissed by the sentiments of the sea and the waiting shore, longing to kiss each other.

Berowalt fa l'apicoltore in alta quota. *** Altri romanzi dell'autrice: "Come lampo" e "Vendetta sottobanco" (entrambi best seller IBS settembre e dicembre 2018, marzo 2019).
