كلُ شيءٍ أزرق ~

The colors appeared in the night. It had been happening to the human race for as long as I could remember. My father had said that we were not like this once, that we were clean, perfectly bonded; perfectly ordinary. There was a time in which the human race could hide their emotions up their sleeves, and no one had to brave the world knowing that their secrets were just unspoken truths that couldn't be hidden. In today's world, we would be the aliens of the past. He was different though. With a whole head of dark midnight blue, so perfectly blended with the night sky that it was borderline black. It brought out the color of his eyes, a shade of light evergreen that dulled the forests that ran across the borders of our land. Me myself, I was a collection of reds, colors of the sunset and of the dawn in which I was named after. While I was warm, he was cool. I was red, and he was blue. The lilac sky that touched the heavens as our fates collided was enough proof that we would clash and meet. But while everything was a bright burning hue, perhaps purple just wasn't for him after all. - Inspired by Halsey's COLORS Edited and co-written @twelvewonderingstars

Every time an artist dies, they paint the sky to paint for one last time. --- While scrolling through Pinterest, I found a Tumblr post that I found to be deep and beautiful. It had an image of the sunset and said something along the lines of what is said above. It was tragically wonderful, and brought a story to my mind. It's much different from my usually sci-fi stories, much more realistic. I must forewarn that it will be sad, and for some quite hard. It contains the concept of struggling with cancer, which is not to be taken lightly. Cancer runs in my family and I understand the hardship and fear of such a disease. Past the depressing plot, I hope it is found to be a well-written story, as I am just trying out a different genre. I wish I could credit who had said this, just remember, this was not wholly my idea and will not claim it as my own. Unfortunately, I lost that post and am unable to give credit. Anyways, enjoy.
