Rue Breigh Collins is twenty-one, studying fashion design at Blackwood University, and she's had feelings for Xavius Royce Sanders for as long as she can remember. Xavius is twenty-seven, works as a freelance model and businessman, and everyone knows his reputation. He never settles, always jumping from one woman to the next, never looking back. To Xavius, Rue's just his best friend Jayden's younger cousin-nothing more. But everything shifts one night at Jayden's party. Someone finds Rue and Xavius together, and it looks bad. Their first time meeting having been uncommon to say the least, leaves Tobias wondering about this lady. He wonders if she thinks about him too, even after that one afternoon. Ivy, on the other hand, seemed not to be impressed at all. Or had that been what she had wanted him to believe. Will their story unfold into something more?

You've lived on the streets for almost as long as you can remember. You don't care about social norms, and certainly not about having a roof over your head. You're happy as long as you're free, if the cost of that freedom is not knowing where your next meal comes from, it's worth it. Isn't it? Will You finally find a family despite your flaws? Or will your unknown past catch up to you, and drag you into another more painful, lonely existence. (excuse the cover, I'll probably make a better one later)
