I am a teenage girl living in a world that is unkind to women and girls. A world that says we should be skinny, tan, blond, and tall. A world that has this image of the "perfect" girl when to be honest...there is no such thing as a "perfect" girl. We are all just girls and women just trying to make it through the day without absolutely falling apart because we think we look fat or our thighs are too big.

He had everything. He'd been with every girl. He was either envied or adorded by every guy. He had the fastest car and the biggest house. He had a rep so big one little slip up would make it crumble. So when Lucy Barge is played she doesn't know what to do. Until her sister Katrina Barge comes to town ready to help her sister cope. "The best way to get over a heartbreak is with revenge" said Kat. "What do you mean?" The sad and red faces Lucy asked. All to curious of what her rebellious sister had in mind. "How about I show you?" Kat said. The evil smile never leaving her face as the most mind blowing brilliant plan she has ever thought up in her 21 years of life. This is a collection of rather surreal poems and writings of mine. Some of them also cut in the horror genre and at times I use written images of gore (I won't ever put visual pictures in this book, it's only written and purely metaphoric but if you are sensitive to written gore or have problems coping with darker topics [such as anxiety, isolation, depression, guilt et cetera] then maybe you should move on to a different book. I use this book partly to vent and to write down some thoughts to quiet down my mind a bit. Which might be a reason why most of the poems are freeverse. So please don't come at me and say that the verses don't rhyme or the metrum isn't right - because that's what freeverse is all about. A poem does not necessarily need to rhyme. :^) Other than that, if you have any thoughts to share or critique to give, then feel free to write those in the comments.
