I'm not a 'filler" type person. Every chapter will be important to characters/story_ (Historically accurate to my best abilities, bad puns, my first time putting work out there, so please give feedback I'm dyslexic, spellcheck can only help me so much) Disclaimer: all characters and storyline belong to me as this is my own personal work and ocs and all historical and literary references are accurate Please note this is a work of fiction and not based on any real historical figures or situations any overlap is coincidental (I'm very dislexic and spell/grammer check was used if there's any issues please let me know) TW: this is a historical murder mystery so obvisoly there will be refrences to death and other sensitive topics (period-accurate language may be used when need be) the cover is temporary as i am working on the graphic designs myself and i want it to be perfect to be prepared for the over to change over time

This is a serialized story with a new part every few days. When do you stop being a child? When do you have the courage and maturity to say no to your mother's request for help with a knotty situation? Millie MacDonald is caught in a family drama when her aunt's bridge partner dies and the aunt insists it was murder. She is lured away from her peaceful (more or less) life in Blue Pond, a tiny Prince Edward Island fishing village, by a sense of duty to help her parents calm down her bossy old aunt. There is no strong language or graphic violence. But there are some nasty people who smile and murder when you least expect it.
