A collection of poetry about feelings and situations I've experienced or just thoughts I have had in general, on my journey to a better more authentic me.

As I've watched the 3 Descendants movies, I've sometimes wondered: What happened then? What happens in between these two events? I talked to a Descendants-loving friend of mine about it, and came across the thought of creating a book about it. So, that's what I'm doing! This book is full of potential scenes that I've written or co-written with other Descendants fans or writers. Scenes that would have jazzed up the story or give an extra few laughs or awes over. Some of these scenes, Disney would probably have never put in, but that's the beauty of fan-fiction, right? We can create what we want with the story! The Inbetween is a tale about the Guardians- those stuck between life and death who serve to protect the living- and Amelia. Just a few months after turning twenty Amelia was betrayed by her childhood sweetheart and murdered by his new bride. She found herself in the Inbetween- A place between the living world and whatever lies beyond- under the guidance of one of the oldest Guardians remaining- Apollo. Amelia is his last recruit before he's permitted to follow his wife and son. But Amelia can't let go of Dylan. Can she face new duty as a Guardian of the living when she's still wounded from her own life? Can Amelia learn to live and love, now that she's half dead, in a way she never allowed herself during life? And can Apollo finally start to find a way to be alive in 'death' once more?

The thing about life is that you don't really know what's gonna happen. I could die right in the middle of the story and you would have to accept that this didn't last long. Or maybe I could become a vampire and you will just give up reading because this is never going to end. Either way I invite you to come with me.
