SUMMARY TEASER
One would think a princess has it easy, or extremely hard.
Vaylene, on the rarer hand, has nothing at all.
In her world, staying inside of the walls is key to protection. Regular citizens rarely, hardly leave and travel into the dark woods. Vaylene realizes with a fright that she never knew she was so afraid of the night until she looked at those same forests with the moon held high.
Because...what lies beyond the meadow was nothing to be excited about. So she's told. And yet, when she's offered a piece to savor with an nasty, monstrous aftertaste, why does she feel the blood rushing through her veins?
Why does she feel the need to run and never look back but stays still all the same? In the movies and in the stories, it all ends up well. She gets the happy ending. But what if she realizes too late life wasn't a book?
What if things get more complicated than that, and even the villain isn't clear? What happens when she ventures outside of the walls that have been created to protect her, sister in tow, in search of a reason?
Pulled into a world of monsters schemes, adventures, Chain-Toppers and war working under the only thing remotely close to a demon, she has no hope other than to save her sister.
How much can she get away with? And how much will she lose?
When the evil is unclear and nothing is simple like it should be in a fairy tale, is the past really so simple and plain as it's been told? If not, how will everyone move forward from the haunting past of MoonCaster looming over every shoulder? Could anyone really forget the damage done by merciless teeth?
The action in this story progresses as the plot does! So please me patient 🥺🥺 Thank you for discovering and taking the time to explore my world
