When Jackie digs deeper, the murderer hits close to home, sending Jackie into an emotional spiral where she finds out the murderer isn't your ordinary psychopath but a testosterone-sucking monster instead.

The following short story was inspired by a nightmare. While it was much longer and messier - the way dreams tend to be - it was so scary and elaborate, that it woke me up at 5 in the morning and gave me no chance of going back to bed. So I edited it a little and turned it into this short story. Hope you guys enjoy it.

A man's head floated over her, his knees squeezing her head as if to prevent escape. He had no face, only skin that looked like a white sheet pulled taught over bones. He spoke. His voice reverberated around her. "You owe us a favor..." I based this story, "Demon", off of the songs "Control" and "Hold me Down" by Halsey. A girl wakes in a pitch black room knowing that if she wants to leave the monster-infested house she has to find a fortune for her faceless savior... The song lyrics are not my own and belong to Halsey!! The rest of the story, however, is mine :)

The vibrant colors always grabbing peoples attention and prompting them to pay top dollar for such an exquisite piece of work. If they knew what they were paying for, I wonder if they would be so willing to hand the money to him? To the man that's dead set in freeing you from such a cruel and harmful world.
