Trouble maker Brynn Callaway didn't know what to do when her life blew up in her face, literally, after she accidentally set off a makeshift bomb that took down two buildings in her home town. With her juvenile delinquent record, this was the last straw before her parents, and the court, sent her to Harlow Correctional Academy for Youth, an alternative school for troubled teens. She knew she had gone too far, the only thing on her mind is going back home, but she didn't expect to find her childhood partner in crime, Jasper Nightingale, at the same alternative school. Jasper and Brynn were always destructive, at each other's throats but in sync when it came to causing trouble. He was the heir to a gang his father ran, and she was the heir to a small convenience store her father ran. A pain in each other's asses but thick as thieves. He'd disappeared and ghosted her years ago after their high school caught on fire. Is this where he's been all this time? Why'd he never reach out? Why does he hate her? The Jasper she once knew is gone and engulfed in a world of danger and conflict. Their history, pent up resentment, and whether they'd both admit or not, attraction, throws Brynn and Jasper into a whirl of confusion and frustration. Brynn doesn't see that this is only the start, and the real trouble is just beginning.
