This is a Critical Role fanfiction between Vax and Keyleth. It takes place in Campaign 1 Episode 38. After a night out in the town, Vox Machina return home quite drunk, especially Keyleth. I don't own any of the Critical Role characters or the artwork on the cover.

So this a book I plan on publishing piece meal over a period of time. I'm a fan of TTRPG, and in reflection of that, I will publish it a "session" at a time. For those who are unfamiliar with TTRPG, every night you meet up with everyone is a session where you guys go over a portion of a chapter within the campaign. So instead of promising a whole chapter at a time I will try and publish a "session" at a time. Other than those things I hope you guys enjoy it and even though the publication of these sessions might be somewhat sporadic I will do my best to be involved in the comments and respond when appropriate. If anything else comes to mind I'll put it here in the notes! Hope you guys like the story!

Really this is anything that I find interesting, fanfiction ideas that I had and am too lazy to write, favorite tropes, and examples. I might add more, but that's what it's going to be for now.

The Life in the Party: One-shot about Essek and his colorful friends that he's grown to love who are determined to pull him out of the shadows... at least in a literal way because they're tired of him sulking off to the side. What is a Friend worth: One-shot where Essek's treachery is discovered and he has a bit of time in prison to think about the people in his life and atone for at least some of his mistakes. Meanwhile, the Mighty Nein are ticking off the Cerberus Assembly to save their friend. Mark of Adventure: A platonic soul mate AU where a group of adventurers destined for each other share a mark. Essek struggles with himself as he comes to terms with what the mark his mother erased for him may have been. A Touching Reunion: The Mighty Nein have found their ex-dead friend Mollymauk and Essek finds himself in the midst of celebrations and reunions which strangely only make him feel both distant and close to these chaotic people Eternal Friends: A consecutive AU where the Mighty Nein and Essek have forced to become forever reincarnated heroes to defeat the foes they couldn't in their first lives. Warning: Canon-typical themes, language, and all that stuff. Warning: It's fluff and angst and found-family all packed into a bunch of long one-shots Also. Based on Critical Role, this is a telling of how the DM is involved in the world of Exandria and is a possible telling of how Vox Machina embarked upon their adventures as shown in the streamed games of Dungeon and Dragons shown every Thursday night on Geek and Sundry. Some knowledge of either Critical Role or the Tal'dorei Campaign setting may be necessary. Do note the chapter Final Role contains spoilers from throughout Campaign 1 from episode 24 onwards.
