I love wattpad, and all the great stories I've found here. I love reading, so finding lots and lots of people who love it too is amazing. I want to encourage people to read the books I've enjoyed, and thought the best way to do this is to: a. start my own blog for unpublished and self-published works (It's called 'plucked from the slush pile' and there's a link on my profile), and b. start a book of reviews on wattpad (and here it is). So these are the 'slush pile plucks', that is, my favourite romance stories I've found so far. Dive in and find some great stories.

A sequel to an older work of mine, this time critiquing the misogynistic society (and now, honestly) in which Widow Brasher was raised, and how her niece Rebecca's subscription to such beliefs culminate in fear, hatred, and a family curse. NOTE: This is a LONG short story, not a novel. Image not mine, as always I think religion can be positive, as I am Christian myself, but it can also be used in a negative way to oppress various people. I think it is right to call the fake Christians out.
