Gee Way is an androgynous, junior in highschool. Life for him is as average as it gets. But, oh, how above average it gets when rebel Frank Iero starts going to school. He's everything Gee isn't. He smokes pot, ditches class, drinks illegally. Nothing Gee would even think of doing. Frank hasn't even been attending school for more than a day and Gee is already head over heels for the punk. And though Frank flirts with Gee all the time, it's almost like he would rather be with anyone else. Frank fools around with boys and girls alike, making Gee feel even more lost. But it only gets worse as opportunities open up for Gee, and life comes down on Frank.

His soul actually being the only thing left of him to this world now and a single stained newspaper clipping reading his obituary, that one such tall heart broken boy, Dallon Weekes, finds and falls in love with the boy in the photograph. Will Brendon be able to communicate from the other side to the sad blue eyed man?
