Momo Ayase is a spirited high school girl with a firm belief in ghosts-but she dismisses the idea of aliens. Conversely, her best friend Ken Takakura, affectionately called "Okarun," is convinced that extraterrestrials are real, but he refuses to believe in spirits. Their friendship is playful but competitive, especially when they make a daring bet: to settle once and for all which supernatural phenomena are real, they'll visit the most haunted hotspots and alien sites around town. Their journey takes them to abandoned buildings, eerie forests, and secret underground labs-places where the supernatural feels especially alive. During their adventures, they unexpectedly encounter both otherworldly aliens and vengeful spirits. These encounters don't just scare them-they awaken hidden powers within. Momo discovers she has psychic abilities, allowing her to sense and manipulate spirits and energies. Meanwhile, Okarun undergoes a bizarre transformation, possessed by a spiritual entity that grants him incredible turbocharged strength and spiritual insight-what he calls his "spiritual possessed turbo granny form." As they grow stronger, they realize they are not alone. A strange, powerful supernatural force begins to threaten their town, and they team up to fight against bizarre monsters, rogue spirits, and alien invaders. Their teamwork and newfound powers make them a formidable duo, blending psychic prowess with spiritual energy. Meanwhile, Shoto Yukito, Okarun's loyal best friend, begins to notice strange changes in his own body. It turns out that his body can generate the most powerful energy the world has ever seen-an ancient, dormant power that awakens when he is pushed to his limits. This energy, known as "Steel," bonds with him, transforming him into a being of incredible strength and resilience.

They start off as enemies but soon form a complex partnership as their personalities clash and their trust in each other grows. Along the way, they encounter terrifying, absurd, and bizarre creatures that force them to confront their own beliefs and fears.

When Tadano started high school, he didn't expect to meet Komi, and he for sure didn't expect to meet a 3rd year by the name of Miyamura, oh and he for sure didn't expect that that would lead to him starting a garage band.
