The Long Dark is a fan fiction about the band Greta Van Fleet, based off the game "The Long Dark." Surviving a plane crash, the boys struggle to survive in the Canadian wilderness in an abandoned, post-apocalyptic wintery wasteland called Great Bear. Due to the harsh weather, and seismic activity, it has rendered the place unlivable. This is where the challenge of survival lies. (Story concept and characters are based on a game and real life people.)

Lily hated Christmas. There was too much snow, bright lights and decorations, and far too many children were built up on the idea that Santa was real. There was also the horrible expectation that she had to put up a Christmas tree, decorate her house and get into the holiday spirit. A spirit she certainly did not intend to have. But when she reunited with an old friend she let him have 25 days to try and change her mind about the dreaded holiday.
