Alina discovered her gift as a small child. She finds some grisha in the forest and saves them. That is the beginning of her new life with the grisha of the second army. The darkling is working to protect grisha / mostly good. Eventually Darklina. No mal. As english is not my first langage i use chatgpt to help me so i cannot take full credit.

Well then this is for you. "In the Moonlight" is a shortish addition to Leigh Bardugo's original story. It presents what could have been between Alina and the Darkling if Mal hadn't found the stag that fast. The story begins after the Darkling leaves the ball and will end when Mal finally finds the stag.

Grishaverse in Faerie World.

Alina and Alexander were stuck in an endless loop of rebirth, but when one died they never knew when they would come back sometimes months but sometimes decades. The second time that Alina died when she was murdered Sasha lost control and created the fold and was known as the black heretic. When Alexander was murdered Alina lost control and razed an entire village to the ground getting the nickname sun witch.

Aleksander didn't expect their tether to be so strong. He is drawn to her and he just doesn't want to resist this pull, he had already waited long enough to find her. Or: What if Baghra hadn't come to rescue her? Not the common smut where they fuck after he comes back to her. There's plenty of that. I mean, no one ever thought that she could find out about Marie's death? Little fluff (to much fluff for the Darkling's mind). The story will go deeper in the explanation of their bond (there will be telepathy), and a grey, maybe a little OOC, Alina. In this short story I try to explore what would have happened if Alina found out her mother was alive.

If you read my story "The light behind the darkness", you may know how much I love Darklina. And after his disappointing death in the series, I have an inspiration to write new one about them.

I honestly thought that they were such a cute pair, so I'm making one shots about them. Some of the stories will be normal Sun Summoner Alina but some will be different, I just can't bring myself to ship Alina or Aleksander with anyone else. And, obviously, Aleksander is good. Yes, he still created the fold, but it genuinely was an accident. Requests wanted!
