Percy Jackson never wanted to be a half blood - it's dangerous. Most of the time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways. Percy's nearly died so many times he's lost count, saved the world twice, and gone through literal hell. In spite of this, he's managed to live a relatively normal life, finishing high school and going to the College Of New Rome to get his degree with his wife, Annabeth. But then, on their way back to New York for Christmas, the couple are killed when a horde of venti attack them. Percy's story should have ended there. He should have gone to Elysium with Annabeth and had a good afterlife. But no. Instead of dying, Percy is revived as a god.

Percy and Annabeth travelled though Tartarus surely there are effects from experiencing that place , especially in the son of Poseidon ...who is blindly tumbling down the darkness...will Annabeth be able to get him back or loose him forever....

He started to count the seconds that passed in a dying heartbeat, seeing dark shadows hiding in the corners of his home, and constant whispers foretelling someones time of death and the grosteque description of how it ended. It's not until it told him of their betrayal that he finally believed it.
