Day: Everyday, I count. Every breath I take, I measure. The leap day curse is real. Every four years once, I lose one of my loved ones. I still haven't found out how to stop it though. And until I find out, I wont fall in love. I won't keep anyone close. My only aim is to keep Ozone, my cousin brother alive. Even if a random guy forces me into a marriage as a revenge against his father. I won't develop feelings for my fake husband. Not when I know how bad it all ends. Diesel: All I know is destruction and anger. Drugs are my temporary reprieve, but how long can they last? When my father shows me an ultimatum and I have to get out of it, I get the perfect solution in the form of my own personal sweetheart. He knows nothing but kindness. He is so sweet, so naive and my darkness calls to his light. I have the perfect solution to my father's ultimatum. My sweetheart might not like it though. It's not like I care. Pretty sure I lost the ability to give a fuck long ago. I just hope his sweet smiles and actions don't melt my stone heart. I can't afford another betrayal.
