The Sun and the Moon need each other. The Moon needs the Sun to shine in the sky, and the Sun needs the Moon to give joy and life to people, because without the Moon, the Earth could not function. * People say that opposites attract. Less often, they say that opposites sometimes have a hard time getting along. But we never hear about the danger of these two different worlds becoming dependent on each other. When they disagree and are fed up with their company, but they can't live without it.

Leaving off with the small critters leaving out of dogdays dismembered body. Catnap appears, looking down at the dog, before invading the room with his signature red smoke. Dogday; battered,traumatized, dismembered body finally relaxes after many years. Falling into a deep slumber he hopes he never wakes up from... that's until he opens his eyes to find out he's inside the smile critters t.v show! What will dogday do once he sees the oh so familiar Purple feline again?

What happens when opposites meet? Well, the answer is pretty obvious-just like how good and evil go hand in hand. But... . . . What would happen if this occurred between two people who live in completely different worlds? Well, that's exactly what happens to Dogday and Catnap. On one side, we have a sweet omega canine who lives his life between university and work, trying to pay both rent and his studies. Meanwhile, on the other side, we have a handsome alpha feline-successful, wealthy from his dealings on the darker side of society, and, as if that weren't enough, desired by many. How is it possible for two such opposite worlds to meet? Well... it happens. Come find out, because this story is only just beginning.

A Smiling Critters one-shot book! This will feature ships, stories that may or may not be canon to any Chapter of Poppy Playtime and even the Smiling Critters playing certain games! I do not own the Smiling Critters, the games or any other Poppy Playtime characters mentioned herein.

As far as CatNap could remember, he'd always had vivid nightmares. Horrors he could never conjure in his waking hours but plagued their sleeping ones. Lately, the nightmares had increased in frequency. Which was normal in itself, since sometimes he would go months with little to no nightmares then, they would suddenly pick back up. This time though, they seemed... off. So CatNap decides to take a walk in the local park. (Catnap ≠ Theo, All characters are 18yrs, Cartoon versions)

Pray be to the prototype he says someday a child of the moon and a child of the sun will meet. They will lead the kingdom to an era of peace. Catnap knew that he didn't belong in this ragtag happy bunch of friends they call the "Smiling Critters." Though he considers them all great friends, most of them still seem to think of him as too "scary and creepy." His words are often too intricate and confusing for anyone to really understand what he's trying to say. His face is mostly too "smiley" and freaks everyone out whenever they catch him in their sight. But above all else, he's too hard to approach. No one really knows what he's thinking. He's too mysterious. They don't know the first thing about him and his true intentions. ...But he was never trying to be part of any of those things. He would love to call them all his friends if they would let him. And yet, none of them are willing to try. Except for one. There only existed one other of the group he could reliably call his "friend." One quiet night, Catnap sits beside his best companion, Dogday. The two talk for a while until the feline says "I hope that one day, I'll be like the rest of you." Not expecting much out of the other through this one moment of weakness, Catnap sits in silence. He feels as though he shouldn't have said anything, until... "Why don't I help you?" The dog suggests. With his attention suddenly grabbed, he looks to the canine. Could his dream really come true that easily?

Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.
