Per Betty la vita non è mai stata facile: la scuola, le aspettative soffocanti della famiglia e i suoi stessi pensieri l'hanno sempre sopraffatta. Ma il giorno del suo compleanno, davanti all'ennesima cena finta organizzata da sua madre, qualcosa si rompe dentro di lei. Betty non riesce più a contenersi, non può più far finta di nulla. È scappando da quel disastro che finisce in un capannone abbandonato in periferia e conosce Archer. Lui non è il classico principe azzurro pronto a curare le sue ferite: è ruvido, distaccato e passa le notti a scagliare frecce nel vuoto per non impazzire. Archer non fa domande, se ne frega delle apparenze e non le chiede di essere perfetta. Nel buio di quel magazzino, Betty trova l'unico posto in cui riesce finalmente a respirare, anche se nascondere il dolore che si porta dentro diventa ogni giorno più difficile. Due anime spezzate che non vogliono essere compatite, ma che continuano a cercarsi nel buio. Riusciranno a salvarsi a vicenda dal peso dei loro stessi demoni, o finiranno per distruggersi del tutto?

They sneak in, avoiding all the alarms and security cameras and ignoring all the missing posters of teenagers and kids alongside all the signs saying 'No trespassing', 'No entry', 'Do not enter', ect., they got in and messaged their friends and sent them a picture of themself in the entry to the giant daycare section of the mall before going in, but what they end up finding there scares them and when they try to leave, they can't find the exit anymore.
