WARNING: I WAS 13-14 WHEN I WROTE THIS, it is decently executed but there ARE major plot holes in the begining and things are sorta rushed in the begining AND MANY spelling errors. At a certain age, some angels become Guardian Angels and are assigned a human to look after at all times. At a younger age than normal, God has decided that Castiel is fit to be a Guardian Angel. Castiel gets assigned to a baby by the name of Dean Winchester. Castiel watches Dean grow up, go through hardships, and endure the responsibility dropped onto the hunter's shoulders by his father. He helps Dean take care if his beloved little brother and gives Dean strength. But of course, Dean does not know Castiel exists, or any angel for that matter, until one day he meets his angel in person and his life is forever changed.

At some point he goes in the kitchen to take something to drink along with a break from the overload of feelings; if his eyes get a little watery from seeing all those people he loves there just for his birthday well, blame it on the spicy food. He feels a pair of arms slide around his waist and Cas' voice against his ear, sending shivers down his back. "Overwhelmed?" he asks gently. Dean turns a little to lock eyes with the angel. "I'm becoming sentimental in my old age" he answers softly, half joking. Cas laughs, eyes crinkling. There's no reason to pretend with Cas, the angel knows him inside out after all. Dean knows he would never judge him. "Is that so? that's okay" the angel presses his lips against his hard, taking his breath away. Their tongues meet and Dean relaxes against him. ___________________________________________ In which Dean gets a proper birthday party and all the love and happiness he deserves. Castiel Novak is a 18-year-old baker's apprentice. Dean Winchester is a 23-year-old firefighter in training. Their paths flirt with each other constantly for good amount of time before finally crossing, coincidentally, on both their first days of working the frontline at their jobs. Castiel is mortified and never wants to face Dean again, but Dean is interested in this clumsy, blue-eyed boy. This story is exactly what it sounds like it is: a dumb love story between a baker and a firefighter.

In the year 1970 on October fifteenth, after being outed as gay by his religious homophobic family and ridiculed by the people in his town, twenty two year old, Castiel Novak decides to take his own life inside of his own home. Skip forward to the year 2015 on October second, twenty five year old, Dean Winchester moves into the same house Castiel once owned. He doesn't believe it when people tell him there's something off about the house but all of his disbeliefs fly out the window when he meets a specific man who may or may not have been living in the same house as Dean for a while.
