We go through trials in life as promised by Allah. And those trials shape who we become, strengthening our hearts if we face them with patience and faith. And finally leading us to Jannah in shaa Allah which is the ultimate goal. "Tasleem" is a journey of growth, faith, love, mistakes, and the quiet struggles many young people carry in their hearts. It is a reminder that even while navigating through life's confusion, self-discovery, and change, staying close to Allah can become the very thing that keeps you standing. Some stories are about finding love. This one carries a different twist: finding yourself.

This is my first poem. I hope you enjoy reading it. This poem is for someone whose heart is shattered into pieces, yet still longs for the one they love. A collection of verses born from raw emotions, delightful feelings, and lingering thoughts. These are the words we whelmed from ourselves and from the world. An overwhelming pain we carry WITHIN us; unspoken words that create a boundary in silence, where distance leads to being misunderstood in a chaotic world, we never spoke out. In the end, it's just a word we never spoke clearly.

Struggling with depression, Étoile writes her feelings in the form of poems through happy and challenging moments as she thinks of ways to end her therapy with the annoying shrink. The journal given to her is a way of escaping reality: her thoughts, her quiet space, and her choices.

The Cage is a descent into despair, told through ten suffocating chapters where confinement shifts from walls and hallways into the mind itself.
