By the year 2288, humanity had transformed from a fractured species into a galactic civilization. The Federation stretched across the stars, its influence reaching every corner of the Milky Way. It was an era of peace, progress, and unmatched technological triumph. And yet... they were alone. No matter how far their ships traveled or how many worlds they surveyed, there was no sign of other intelligent life. The universe vast, ancient, and beautiful remained eerily silent. Theories once whispered in academic circles, the "Great Filter," the "Rare Earth" now loomed large and terrifying. Was intelligence a cosmic accident? Was humanity the only one to make it this far? Then, everything changed. On the eve of humanity's historic voyage to Andromeda (M31). As their science vessel prepared for its journey across 2.6 million light years, something unprecedented occurred. In a flash, space itself seemed to twist and fold, as the Milky Way merged with another galaxy in instant, one far larger and older than their own. Now, in this strange, limitless frontier, humanity's greatest adventure was only just beginning. Would they adapt and survive, or uncover something beyond their wildest understanding? Eliza could bear the searing sting of her father's palm. She could bear her servant's barely giving her the time of day. She could bear the pains of hunger. But what she could not bear is her father selling her sister to the most vile man Eliza has ever had the displeasure of meeting. So Eliza does the only thing she could do. She whisks her sister, Annabelle, away in the middle of the night to London. They stow away on a merchant ship in the hopes to reach the Americas. Eliza prays that the merchants will allow them to stay aboard, though it is of the utmost importance that the crew knows nothing of their lives before they stepped onto their ship. And who is to say that the merchants don't have some secrets of their own...

The society we live in is in chaos, aristocrats and politicians roam the streets, while the homeless are walked upon. Protests aren't working and our pride is being consumed. A conformity lurks as it slowly takes over, and peoples ignorance grows. By Omary Spade

The fall and the fire.

One of the few women to reach the rank of sergeant in the US military at the age of 30, she will be deployed to protect Speaker of the US on her visits to Taiwan and South Korea, when a bomb exploded, leaving only 4 survivors. After that, she will serve as Secretary of the Navy in the Taylor and Fitzgerald Administration, she will run for the US Senate for the Democratic party and win the race. In the Senate, she introduces legislation for military veterans and widowers to create more training camps for the navy army (...). When on October 6, 2042, a president urges the public to invade the Capitol to stop, she immediately goes into soldier mode and asks everyone, especially those who are older, to leave early and to take their belongings to the officials who take the folders and electoral certificates and to the other senators of the two parties who come with what they need (classified docs...) and who follow the police and never look back. After what happened, she will give a speech that will change history when she finishes speaking all the senators applaud the speech, (...) after the House of Representatives passed the impeachment resolution against the American president and that also in the Senate passes 89-11 impeachment she is in the senate for another eight years (...). And in two years she runs for the US presidency and wins. What will the future of the USA and the 3rd President look like?

A TEMPORARY STATE OF MIND BROUGHT UPON BY AN EVENT [Italian Sonnet 001] It's now a profession. It's now spreading like an infection. Needs instant cure and medication. It works like a termite. Eating everything day and night. It's a malicious cancer. Deep rooted, posing a danger. We only talk and enquire. That also with no time desire. We hardly raise our voice. As if we have no choice. Root cause are 'we.' Not they he or she. Let's pledge to fight. To erode this termite.

We often just accept it, blinkedly, ignorantly, obliviously, don't have the time or energy to question, too wrapped in ourselves, our lives. It astounds me the sheer, stark polar opposites between the wealthy Western World and the torn and troublesome Third World. That's what this poem's about.

No mistaking it, in India's socio-religious turf, caste is the divisive creed of the Hindus, largely immune to the cultural credo of the Hindutva, formulated by Savarkar, which diminishes their demographic strength in its electoral arena, comprising of non-Hindus in considerable numbers, who, in stark contrast, are religiously cohesive and politically emotive, particularly against the Hindu nationalists.
