This is the story of when Angels happily meet humans, and the humans ruin them. Castiel Novak, an angel, goes by many disturbing names. He's a slave, he gets used to it. Until one day when he meets Dean Winchester, a boy who just wants to save everyone. Castiel has one question to ask Dean, to ask the whole population of humanity. "Why?"

A dramatic scene where Dean and Castiel are fighting Lust, one of the Seven Deadly Sins in human form. Castiel gets affected by Lust's powers, leading to a tense moment where he turns against Dean.

Dean and Cas were old fraternity brothers who lost touch when Dean graduated. After Cas earned his degree as a nurse, he began his career at Lawrence Hope Hospital and hasn't seen Dean since. Dean's hands felt numb as he stared at the words. The piece of paper crinkled in his grip, his knuckles white. He knew he shouldn't have read it, but he hadn't been able to avert his eyes. He knew he shouldn't have read it, but it was too late now, far too late. He stared at the words immortalized in black pen on white paper, in the angel's handwriting. This piece of paper that had looked so unassuming, so innocent where he picked it up from the floor under the war room table. How should Dean have known that in picking it up, his world would shatter around him. ~oOo~ Or, the one where Dean reads something he shouldn't have read, and everything changes.

Dean starts wearing the glasses used for seeing hellhounds around everywhere to discover other things hidden from his vision. At first he notices nothing. Until one day, Cas shows up and Dean can't seem to take them off. Based off a post I saw on Insta about what if Dean could also see Cas' wings with the glasses on. Not my original idea:)
