Hi, I'm Estelle Marie Caper and this is my senior year documentary. At first, it would've just been about my rise to be valedictorian, but it's way more than that. It's about my discovery of 7 amazing people that I would've thought that I'd had nothing in common with. Well, I was dead wrong. You know what's even more amazing about it? I met them in detention! She also explores new romance that may threaten not only her role as the class president, but also her full scholarship to Princeton. I turned the door knob with my hand sweating, nervous from what I'm going to face. I stepped inside reluctantly and saw Jacob staring at me with anger in his eyes. I gulped with fear, I was sure that he heard me because a small smirk formed on his face. "You're late." He said breaking the silence. "I had something to do." I lied, I had nothing to do, and no friends to do anything with. "And what was that?" He asked "It doesn't matter." I said and saw him clench his jaw in frustration. "You will tell me or I will punish you worse than I already was for the fact that you were late" He said and I wanted to run away as far as I could. I wanted a normal eighteen year old's life. I broke into tears and he grabbed me by my neck and made me face a corner in the kitchen. I wanted to die right there I wouldn't be surprised if he ended my life right there. He grabbed an old, falling apart, wooden chair, and before a warning he swung it at my back. And I cried out in unbearable pain.

They sent the Lupines to the basement for detention. Which would be fine, except what the school has imprisoned down there is both immoral and illegal.
