Ophelia came from a wealthy family and had suitors thrown at her ever since she turned 16 by her parents in hopes that she will marry well in the future, but what if she doesn't want them? However, fate doesn't allow that. She meets the man she teased in her childhood, but will he forgive her? Turns out he will. They ended being friends for life then. While walking in town, she meets a man, but she shuts him down as she did to the other ones, but the guy won't take no for an answer. Ophelia finally had enough and decided to change her story up, saying she already was betrothed to a man. The guy finally gave up when Ophelia showed him the guy she was supposedly betrothed to when in reality, she just took the random man and pretended to be his betrothed. News spread quickly and her parents found out. What was she to do? Drop the act and disappoint her parents? Well, that was her first thought, but then made a deal with the man, who happened to be named Isaiah, to continue this act when someone was around and Isaiah gets to support his family with the help of Ophelia.
