Twenty years ago, Krishvi was seven. She had a family she loved, an uncle she looked up to, and a father she believed could protect her from anything. Until one night changed everything. Her uncle never came home. Her father was blamed for something he never did. And Krishvi disappeared. Twenty years ater, she has learned to live quietly with the pieces of a life she barely remembers. At twenty-seven, she owns a small cafΓ© and runs an NGO that helps people who have nowhere else to turn. She is there for everyone children, students, women, victims, strangers. Just never for herself. Krishvi is kind, but distant. She listens, but rarely speaks about herself. She helps people carry their burdens while pretending she has none of her own. She doesn't smile often anymore. And she doesn't talk about the night she was taken. Not because she doesn't want to remember. But because there are parts of that night she simply can't. A few broken memories. A familiar voice. A hand holding hers. Her uncle telling her not to be afraid. And then... nothing. For twenty years, her family has tried to move on. Krishvi hasn't. Because somewhere inside her is the feeling that there is more to that night than what she was told. Her father's old investigation. Her uncle's death. The accusations that destroyed their family. And the people who benefited from all of it. Maybe some wounds are better left alone. Maybe some truths are not worth finding. But Krishvi has spent twenty years living with questions. Now, she's finally ready to ask them. And as she begins pulling at the first loose thread of her past, she doesn't realise that one small answer may unravel everything she thought she knew about her family... and about herself. Some things break with time. Some things break in a single night. And some broken threads are waiting twenty years to be tied again.

"Are you Eva Queen?" I ignored the deep voice. I had honestly got enough of the students asking me that question when it is so obvious. "I'm Henry," He oh-so-awkwardly said. "So ah, you are a bad girl?" God, just shut up already. "I just assumed you were since you have a leather jacket and a smoke dangling out of your mouth." I trod on my cigarette and turned around. "You ar-are hot, i mean no, oh god just forget i ever talked to you. Did that offend you? I'm sorry. I'm embarrassing myself, aren't i?" The nerdy guy with round glasses said while scratching his head. "What the actually fuck?" - Eva is depressed, well so depressed she isn't afraid of death anymore. She doesn't think she deserve to live, not after what she did to her family that got them killed. Then suddenly she got a friend and now she's not so sure she want to die anymore.

"I loved you. I trusted you. I fucking cared about you and you throw it all back to my face? My friends warned me and my parents never agreed. But I decided to ignore everything for you, because you had me living in a fucking fantasy." I fell apart. My body was stained with humiliation. My face was stained with tears. I let them fall freely. It was almost like letting everything out, but it wasn't even close to that. I was tired. He destroyed me. "I hate you." I said, my voice low. "You never loved me. You just didn't wanna be alone." She got carried away by "love" at a tender age of life. She didn't know she was letting herself drown. She went against her family and friends. Little did she know she was walking into the perfect danger, and that was her mistake. It was too late when she opened her eyes to the real world. By then, she was already defamed publicly, lost all her friends, her family's trust and her own self-respect. She was being brainwashed and pressured by a bitch. W A R N I N G None of this is true. It's all fictional. This book portrays how the life of a young girl was destroyed. She might not be the perfect girl, but she accepted her mistakes. So if you're gonna blame the girl in anyway, please walk away. Bad languages are used.
