Including Vergil, the man you've always loved so much, and wished you could just hug him and be there for him, knowing everything you know. And the thing is... now you can. But then there's the question: will he let you in? (this fic will focus on relationships with more characters than just Vergil, but the only romantic one is with him. It's kinda more ''reader in the DMC universe'' with slice of life events n such as well, not just back to back Vergil scenes.) It's not YET marked as mature, but eventually there will be smut. this is my Canon of the Devil May Cry Video Games timeline, I have my own personal canon which follows the Netflix Anime, but I felt like working on a joined Timeline with every main DMC game, Hope you enjoy.

You've heard of it haven't you? We all have, The Legend of Sparda. Long ago, in ancient times, a demon rebelled against his own kind for the sake of the human race. With his sword, he shut the portal to the demonic realm and sealed the evil entities off from our human world. But since he was a demon himself, his power was also trapped on the other side. What many din't known was that sparda had fell in love with a human woman and birthed two children, the eldest. Who in the future would walk a dark path and be know as the dark slayer. The Alpha And Omega, Vergil. and the youngest, who in the future would continue his father's legacy in protecting the human world from the demons of the underworld, and be known as The Legendary Devil Hunter, Dante. Another legend i'm sure you know. The overseer clans. The umbra witches, who would practice the dark arts, and allign themselves with the demons of inferno, a place that's believed to be the first and true underworld, the same one sparda came from. And the lumen sages,who would practice the light arts and allign themselves with the angels of paradiso, who is believe to be the first and true heaven. The two clans lived in peace, a balance of light and darkness, until one day. The witch hunts began, a battle between light and darkness. In the end there was no victor. The umbra and the lumen finished each other off. And their history, deleted from the records of time. But like the legend of sparda there is something not many know, the reason of the witch hunts, a sage and a witch fell in love and conceided a child, breaking an ancient oath, the child would be a pariah to the witches, and then sealed during the hunts. Only to awaken 500 years later. How do i know all of this? Well, that's simple. I'm the son of the devil hunter and the witch. My name is Luciel sparda. He hasn't come up with a name for his company, though that didn't bother him that much at all. However, one day while he was doing his usual business of relaxing around his company, enjoying his pizza, a certain blonde Detective walks on in to hire him for a certain job. Although it wasn't hunting Demons per se, she was driving a hard bargain that he wasn't willing to let down. Being one to enjoy a challenge, he would take up on the offer to hunt down Myths, only to discover more about himself along the way...
