Romance, hurt, and a hole in the gut. 16 personal poems of mine that nobody has seen, and are based off of my own hurt and personal experiences. Interpret them how you wish. I write in my head a lot of the time, I say tricky things that hardly make sense which is partly why poetry is so hard to write down. I sit and stare at the words I have written trying to figure out how to make it readable, but the thing I like is that it's the words in poetry that sometimes shifts a perspective, not just the meaning behind it. The choice of words or what order they're in, not quite grasping what any of it could possibly mean so you can keep that poem for yourself to interpret it as you wish. I love it. It's using words in the most peculiar way, and twisting them so they melt down into a feeling rather than something you read.

(Y/n) is the biggest superstar actress and singer, who has everything she ever wanted, and what others only dream of. Hailee is just an ordinary girl who attends Dickinson High school in LA and only dreams of graduating and living her life far away. When (y/n) is faced with a life changing situation, she realizes she never got to experience a normal childhood. So with a heavy heart (y/n) decides to attend public high school for her senior year. When the two paths cross y/n discovers that Hailee is very different from everyone else- materialistic and willing to do anything to get ahead. Is there any Hope for y/n and Hailee or will the two just be another pair of star cross lovers.

One of my personal favorite poets is Emily Dickinson. I have made an attempt to write some poems inspired by hers. Each of these will list which poem of hers inspired it below the poem.
