Three years have passed since Ragnamon's destruction, and the Digital World is starting to overlap the Earth, with Digimon appearing, and some even taking advantage of human emotions. The DigiDestinated must unite to keep the Digital Waves Stable. However, something else seems to be taking place. An agent of a secret organization, known as ADAMAS, who clames to be from a future of 8 years arrives into this present time, to investigate what caused the "world colapse" in his future. This arc follows the canon events episode by episode while integrating the CD dramas Tegami ~ Letter and Michi e no Armor Shinka, the film Revenge of Diaboromon, and songs from Yamato & Teenager Wolves - Arrive as narrative and emotional extensions of the story. More than a story about saving the world, this arc is about learning what remains when people can no longer return to who they once were.
