My friends supported me to do a collection of my occasional short stories I wrote for funzies. I write short stories usually because I randomly thought of something and I wanted to write it down, which may or may not be used in the future. I would also like to clarify that every short story's characters and plot are not related, so the confusion may last and I'm sorry for that. But I am starting this collection anyways, and I hope you guys will enjoy it. You guys could comment if you guys have any suggestions, and I would love to improve. Love you all.

But what happens when the mysterious crack begins sucking everything in like a black hole? And what happens when Delta gets sucked in? The Outcast gang itself is highly inspired by Newsies and The Outsiders.)

"being a shield is my birthright." • This work is dedicated to everyone who is healing, recovering, learning (and unlearning), discovering, becoming, and being. For all of the oldest siblings, those recovering from trauma of any kind, the twenty-somethings, all of my queer and trans and disabled and neurodivergent siblings, people whose favorite trope is found family, those who struggle with chronic pain/illness, and anyone who just can't figure out how to word things. This is for you. This is also for me, for my future self, so I can hopefully look back one day and thank the Universe for how I've grown and how much I've gained. Here's to hoping for a better future.

The Quiet Struggle follows the poignant and emotional journey of Katherine "Kat" Greene, a once-vibrant teenage girl whose life is forever altered after a devastating car accident. Left with severe brain damage, Kat wakes up in the hospital with little memory of her past and a future she cannot comprehend. Struggling to piece together the fragments of who she once was, she faces a world where even the simplest tasks are now overwhelming challenges. Unable to control her body, Kat is forced to rely on others for care. She wears diapers and needs assistance with basic tasks-her body and mind no longer in sync. Her speech is fragmented, her thoughts a jumble of confusion and frustration. Once independent, Kat is now like a child in an adult's body, seeking answers to questions she can't even fully express. As she navigates this new reality, Kat's emotional journey becomes one of quiet resilience. Through the compassion of her devoted mother, who remains by her side, and the support of her caregivers, Kat begins to find small moments of hope, discovering that despite her challenges, there is still a spark within her-a will to connect, to heal, and to reclaim a sense of herself. In this intimate and heart-wrenching exploration of identity, memory, and the power of human connection, The Quiet Struggle invites readers into the mind of a girl fighting to find her place in a world that feels both familiar and foreign. Through Kat's eyes, we learn that strength doesn't always come in loud victories, but in the quiet determination to keep going, one small step at a time.
