in which a girl and a boy both find a way to become disconnected from the system that demands to bring them down.

Mia and Joseph. It has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Mia craves to not be held back from the world but she needs someone to guide the way. Joseph enters the new school year as a junior but Mia finds him different as ignorant or hard headed he might be. Falling in love with each other but keeping each others at arms length because of their views of the world and unreal problems coming up.

Life as an Aromantic, is a series of writings about living in a world filled with love and affection. When you yourself cant relate. Alternative Title: Life as an Aromantic These will centered around Aromantism by itself because I myself can only speak on it with my own experiences as an Aro.

At what point is a superhero actually just a psychopath in a mask? The Lord of the Night, a local legend who goes about making the city a safer place. His own methods have been criticisied by many as "Excessively violent" and he's been called a "Vigilante". But of course things like this just get in the way of the superheroics. What happens when this masked loner is caught in the mind of a young boy? After all, we all try to emulate our heroes. But is Lord really the Silver Age comic hero that the boy envisions, or is there something going on behind the mask.

3rd Place in Mystery/Thriller - Books Got Talent 2020 "babe where are you?" "Right outside the terminal. I don't see you." Daniella Spencer is flying to meet her boyfriend Luca just like she has done many times in the past. This time, something is off. Will she arrive at the right time? After the plane lands, she collects her luggage... but at this point, she would rather be surprised than try to force things so she goes out of the terminal... "Come here, baby girl! Come here to mama!" A beautiful voice is heard across the arrival terminal. Daniella turns around to witness what she can only call 'a picture-perfect Kodak moment'! As she stares at the young woman playing with her dog, Daniella realizes that the young woman was one of the passengers on her flight. She remembers seeing her on her way back from the bathroom. Her beautiful long dark mane captured her attention along with her interesting shade of pink lipstick. "Only a few lucky women in the world could pull off that specific shade of fuchsia" she recalled thinking to herself as their eyes met. "Aw Dani, I missed you too! Who's a good girl? I love you, I love you so much! Did you miss me? Where's Daddy?" A tall 5'11", leanish, shaggy-haired blonde man joins them. "Luca! Baby! I was starting to think the dog came alone to pick me up!" the beautiful young woman says as she lazily throws her arms around her partner. Daniella blinks rapidly as knots form all over her body. "What the hell is going on here?! What is my Luca, MY LUCA doing with this hoe? Are you... Are you f**king kidding me right now?... This is the deck of cards I'm handed today????" Daniella halts herself and thinks again. She regulates her breathing and tames her temper before continuing. "Was it The Universe's way of preparing me for this moment? Okay... All I know is that the only Happening that is Happening right now is me throwing hands at the airport at this fuschia b***ch."

Texts between a couple that's learning how to handle a long distance relationship.

The main character, Sagent, has recently been disconnected from The Cell where she was a tiny spark apart of a network connected to Mother (the Mother Board). After she began to feel things, something impossible for an AI nerve cell, Sagent begun to ask questions. These question's raised alarms and she was ejected from the Mother and then disconnected from The Cell. This process shuts down, or Kill's, 99% of disconnected "Viruses" or Human's. People from one-thousand years ago, known merely as the Technician's, placed seven billion human lifeforces into a system known as Taria. From here they were plugged into The Cell and then connected into the Mother, they were meant to stay here until the Technician's awoke them but after five-hundred centuries a male known as Ash Wood was Ejected and then Disconnected into Taria. Two centuries later four females were aborted from the Cell but all were unable to survive being away from the Mother. Then, when hope seemed dim, Sagent was Disconnected. As we know, she survived and is ready to share her experiances as she strives to find the 'meaning of life' and 'what it means to be truly alive'. Ash Wood, a lonely and strange indivisual, is soon tethered to Sagent and learns his view of life is nothing compared to the view Sagent soon show's him.
