Flash fiction for the Weekend Write-In

Elsa meets Henry Graham, a hermit traveler with a power he sees as a curse. They feel a connection because they both experience loneliness and sadness for not being 'normal'. Unfortunately, fate grants them only seven years before the curse extinguishes Henry's life. How will their love story unfold during the time fate has allotted them?

I lay on my bed just thinking of this really short story and poured my feelings into it.

Ragnhild Eilifsdotter is a Huldrekin, people related to the trolls of Norway, but more human-like. The men kept the people living under hill for centuries, so as soon as they were let out she moved to Seattle to experience some freedom. Unfortunately even the New World has rules and Ragnhild has to do a favor for a troll, always a tricky prospect.

A poem-piece based on struggles, worries, anxiety and fears. Related more to us than Tony Stark. We all have such times...times when we have no hope. I just tried to express one.

But inside, Matthew is longing to make the boy that hurt her, rue the day he was born. Can Emily overcome her brief feelings for Jake, to save her best friend? Can she open her eyes to her childhood playmate, and see what he sees? And can the two made-to-be teens find each ther before it's too late?
