She's a fashion designer who's used to fixing things-hemlines, colors, entire collections when they fall apart. He's a scuba diver who doesn't fix anything. He just disappears into the ocean whenever life gets too loud. They meet because of something random-maybe a coastal project, maybe mutual friends, maybe just bad timing. He smells like salt and doesn't take anything seriously. She notices everything and takes too much seriously. They don't really get along at first. But somehow, she keeps finding him in the same places-quiet beaches, late evenings, moments where the world slows down. And without meaning to, he becomes the one person she doesn't feel the need to "perfect" herself around.

These are excerpts from my manuscript. It covers 25 years of rescues and body recoveries while working for the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the Orange County Sheriff's dive team. Every person I recovered was always done with the families in mind. I wanted to give them closure and bring their loved ones back to them. I will try to add 2 chapters a week. An addict is someone who is so caught up in something, or someone, that they can't take their mind off of it, off of them, hey have to do it, see it. Being an adict for smoking, drugs, sex isn't fun, but from my experiance, I can tell being an addict for a person is somehow worse.
