"Thank you for making me feel human again."
IN THE YEAR 2253, somewhere on planet Earth, home of The Sanctuary, past the end, lived a society ran by rulers who encouraged an AI called Genesis, to take over everything. The humans of this world have no brain for themselves due to their conformity to technology doing everything for them.
The day The Great Expansion was announced, 19-year-old, Jeon Jungkook was standing right behind the ruler-his father. He conformed just as everyone else did, assuming that the technology take over was good for the world but despite it, he always yearned for more, to create something of his own, a feeling he could never understand due to his whole world view being that he should be content because everything is done for him. He never felt, just played along. And he didn't explore his feelings, especially knowing he'd have to take his fathers role one day.
Until he sneaks into a room that his father forbid him to enter, he discovers prisoners-humans, being used for their brain power and knowledge to function the Genesis systems. Jungkook knows none of this right, and he especially doesn't expect to build such a strong friendship with one of the prisoners, 19-year-old, Park Jimin. But it's up to him to continue to conform to his "perfect" society or risk everything in hopes of saving the human heart.
