In vitro fertilization is when the eggs are fertilized outside the woman's body within a test tube in an embryological laboratory. This has now become a common procedure in the couple dealing with the infertility problem. Sometimes there are infertility problems at the women's end and sometimes at the male's end. In some cases, the woman's eggs aren't good enough or don't have enough ovarian reserve, or have premature ovarian failure.
