This is a poem I wrote for my close friend who turned 18 and has some pretty cool dreams and goals. I just wanted her to always remember that no matter what anyone else says, what you believe is always more important. Even though I wrote it for her, I think a lot of people can find themselves in it! (I'm not a poet at all, I'm not fully sure people who are would consider this a poem.) There are a couple of religious lines, as both of us are religious ourselves. I just want to say whatever you believe or don't believe is fully up to you. I completely respect everyone's beliefs even if I don't share them you fully deserve to have your own! Then young, sweet Crystal comes along and supports both in their time of need. They both support each other and become best friends. But the course of life never did run smooth.
