We all have that one boy of our dreams and we all know that he is our destiny. But to reach there is a long journey , I fathom.

Kara Oakland thinks she is damaged goods and that makes her doubt her self worth. She has seen horrors, although not as heavy as others, they are still valid. She doesn't put others down because of the way they dressed because she knows how much it hurts to hear someone talk about you like that. She doesn't believe rumors because she knows the pain they can cause. And, most of all, she thinks that she is just like other girls, she isn't the main character, but rather the character that gets mentioned once as a side thought. She's also more intelligent then she knows, and she could rank the highest in the world and still brush it off as luck. She has bright honey hair and dark green- almost brown- eyes that light up when she cries. She has hips and a nice body, but her tummy makes her believe she doesn't. Her face is littered with light freckles. She is simply ordinary.

Rafa, the lead in this story is narrating to her clique the story of her first heartbreak - the short affair she had with Ram. Additionally, I'ma use some tagalog words to fully capture the feelings in the story.

Dream means an idea or vision that is created in your imagination and that is not real. Or something that you have wanted very much to have for a long time.

Azura couldn't help but feel a constant cloud of sadness despite her family and kind-hearted friends' support. They never belittled her, yet a sense of not belonging lingered within her. Her grades were average, and she had no particular athletic prowess. Outwardly, she maintained a facade of happiness and energy, but deep down, she struggled to fit in. On the other hand, Asher was the epitome of the ideal partner, a dream for anyone to wake up next to each morning. With his athletic prowess and above-average grades, he possessed everything she did not. His confident charm effortlessly drew people in, while her insecurities kept her in the shadows. She admired him from afar, secretly wishing for even a fraction of his self-assuredness. Their paths occasionally crossed in the university corridors or during group projects, but she always felt out of place in his presence. He was the football team star, the student council president, and the go-to tutor for struggling students, while she blended into the background, never standing out. Her friends often encouraged her to emulate him, urging her to excel in academics or sports. But as much as she admired him, she knew that trying to be someone she wasn't would only deepen her inner turmoil. Her deepest desire was to find her path, purpose, and a sense of belonging beyond the suffocating expectations and comparisons that haunted her. Little did Azura know that he carried his burdens and insecurities beneath his confident exterior. The pressure to maintain the image of the perfect dream boy weighed heavily on him, and he grappled with self-doubt. Perhaps, as time unfolded, Azura would discover that they shared more in common than she could have ever imagined. Their journey to finding their true selves might lead them to a deeper connection than she had ever anticipated.
