As a child Evan Nathan Hudson believed in santa, tooth fairy, etc.. even Mermaids! Now he's 16 years old he doesn't have much memories as a child but he doesn't believe in mermaids anymore, well not until... One day at the beach he will soon be saved from drowning by a ..... Mermaid?!

Summary: Kusuo Saiki always thought he had time to figure Teruhashi out. Now all he has left are memories, regrets, and a hatred for the sea. Warnings: major character death, grief, drowning, brief descriptions of drowning, angst, emotional hurt/no comfort. This is my first time writing a fanfiction, so I apologise for any mistakes! It's meant to be my idea of what dying is like

Mermaids are the women thrown off of ships when t sailors got afraid because having a woman onboard was bad luck. And as they sink the bottom, legs tied together, they slowly change until they can breathe. Until they can use their tied legs to swim. And they drown sailors in revenge, luring them in by singing in their dangerously addicting voices, still husky from the sting of the salt water that drowned them.
