George, almost the perfect bully's punching bag, finally meets the one person who will stand up for him. His bully's best friend. Even though George's life is in /shambles/, he's trying to find some comfort in his new...erm- friend. Unfortunately, he really can't just catch a break. Between his complicated relationship with his bully's best friend and the tragedies that occur as a result. Dream meets George, and immediately understands that something must be off. He wanted to make him feel better, and as he slowly makes more and more discoveries about George and his past, the worse it seems. Dream's in way over his head, not even considering the fact that he lives alone at 17 with his little sister to take care of. Sapnap also has issues. Every dream team member is traumatized and they all get their time to shine. Karl's here too. Clay spends his days cooped up at home, playing a wide variety of games, eating little and sleeping a lot, and despite he lives in Florida, never really enjoying the weather or the environment of this place. His only company was his cat Patches. But his life begins to change little by little, after he begins exchanging daily messages with his long-distance friend George. All these feelings that he has and cannot express are found in the lyrics of Mac DeMarco's songs. George is changing his life, bringing back feelings he thought were forgotten, and making Clay curious to discover his sexuality for the first time in 23 years.
