The new story has the same title as this one.] It borrows the world and characters from the anime "Overlord," but the plot is entirely original. This is not a light and pleasant story about a great, glorious, and righteous hero challenging an evil Overlord. On the contrary, it depicts a female character with significant flaws, fighting the toughest and most brutal battles against the Overlord in a dark world, and growing through these conflicts. There are two main characters: One, a quirky yet powerful girl. The other, a mature and steady male adventurer, albeit weak. They embark on a journey to battle the most powerful evil Overlord, Ainz Ooal Gown. So can they succeed? Note: There is almost no romance plot.

(Working Title.) Davi is an elven born Tiefling. Their Father, also known as "War Cloud" has been on an insatiable quest for power longer than they can remember. As a child, Davi would run away to the nearby Orc village. The village is the closest to a home Davi has ever known, and is very grateful this village has been spared. But now that the dust has settled, they find their friend Rafa is more interesting than they remember. (As of now, most of these events can occur in homebrew. I've done lots of research, but I've only been playing D&D for a couple years. As the story continues it may stray further from the game.)

Pinoy De la Cruz, a 15 year old boy is the sole survivor of Settlement 45 in the continent of Xingfu on the Planet Saurogaia, the equivalent of Earth on C.Dimension M185. Rescued by the Palinod people, the Aegigi tribe of the region, a Race of Reptile like Humanoids native to Saurogaia. With the help of the Palinod, Pinoy grew up well adapted and skilled to survive an inhospitable primeval world that largely resembles Mesozoic Earth, a land where Dinosaurs still rule! Pinoy, who was only Ten years old at the time, survived the freak Dinosaur stampede that destroyed the settlement and likely killed all the other settlers including his mother. His survival was owed to a mysterious sound he followed into the jungle. There he meets Magilas, a Rex juvinile whom he establishes a mysterious bond with. That bond with Magilas facilitated, in a way his rescue by the Aegigi who are also bonded with Tyranosaurid Dinosaurs similar to Magilas. For five years, the boy largely believed that he will never see another human being again. That is until Pinoy bumps into the Gypsum Expedition who was investigating settlement 45's ruins. The Gypsum expedition is a research team that has been sent by Neogensis to Pagasa Valley and find out what has happened to the settlers. Together with Pinoy, they piece together the tragedy that unfolded five years prior. Together they unravel the mystery of the tragic fall of Settlement 45.

A trio of warriors that really don't get along are forced to travel together to find an enchanted crystal. They don't expect said crystal to send them to a place they don't recognize. And they really need to get back home. But the only local they have found so far is a cheerful child who claims to know a way for them to get back. Without other options they reluctantly agree to let the child guide them home. What could go wrong?
