Tom was kidnapped, separated from edd and Matt and took in by tord himself. He was forced to join the army and he found himself getting used to it. Tord had a realization of his feeling towards Tom and got jealous when Tom found someone else. Tord comes back after years of being "in the city", and Tom isn't as happy about it as Edd and Matt are. Tom thought Tord just came back for "the special project" he had been building in the basement before he left, but Tom soon learns that he was wrong.
